Gently sloping back. An elegant classic design that is seen in many gardens, this design with rollover arms and a latticed back is a replica of the original by Edwardian architect Sir Edwin Lutyens that is featured prominently at Sissinghurst in Kent. One of our customer photos show a Goldenteak Lutyens bench that has been in a garden for over 18 years with the surrounding garden having matured over time.
05/19/2016 - Hmmm. We were pleased with the interaction with your company. The order came promptly, the pieces were of high quality, and assembly went smoothly and without hassles. I attach a picture of the 'installation'. We are developing a circular 'patio' area within our flower garden that centers on a low serpentine wall and walkway. It is separated from the adjacent street by a cornus mas hedge that is gradually growing and becoming more dense. Central to the circular 'patio' is a unique sculpture that serves as a table. Your two circular benches have a circumference that matches that of the outer perimeter of the sculpture and provide seating when the sculpture is used as a table for, e.g. serving wine. (I could provide more detailed pictures of the benches and the sculpture if that would be helpful.) Thank you. JR, WA. Thanks for your customer photo (see here).
