Goldenteak's Teak Steamer Chairs (Teak Steamer Chaise Lounges), reclining chairs and other teak furniture have been in service at the Winnetu in Martha's Vineyard for several years. The beauty of Teak Wood is that it requires no maintenance (unless you want to preserve the Golden Honey Brown color) and ages beautifully to a silvery grey - somewhat like driftwood. The oils in teak and its insect resistance keep it from rotting. Teak is the best material to use even in highly corrosive environments like near the beach. Our solid brass fittings may tarnish a bit, but will not rust out.
