Grand Teak Table - can extend to seat 14 +. Very flexible. When closed can seat family of 8-10. Very solid and heavy. Diamond Design. Two butterfly leaves 15.75" each. Top Height 29.75". Length closed 87", Length open 118.5". Width 43.5" Distance between legs 53". Apron height 3", Apron depth from edge 7". Table top clearance 28.5". How thick are the table tops?

The Table tops are 1.25 inch thick (30mm). For extension tables they have an apron underneath, that holds the slides for the extension.

How is the extension stored?

The extension is a "butterfly" type extension, and folds and slides under the table top when not in use. The whole tabletop including the extension is pre assembled so now work is required by the consumer.

Is assembly required?

Yes - Assembly is required. The tables come with the legs and center brace (between the legs) separate from the top. The legs need to be attached to the top. We recommend doing the assembly when the table is upside down in the box, and then getting some help to rotate it right side up. Help is needed for all tables, but especially the large extension tables that can be as heavy as 170lbs +. Be very careful when rotating the heavy tables.

This is our Teak Nantucket Grand Extension Table (that extends to 118 in) and some Teak Millbrook Side Chairs as well as some Millbrook Dining Chairs (with arms). Note the thickness of the table and the heft in the chairs. And of course it is all Grade A premium teak as can be noted from the color of the teak wood. This set has begun to bleahc in the sun. To preserve the golden brown color of premium teak one can use any UV protector. Thanks to MH for sending us this customer photo.
